Food 4 Health Coaching: What can you expect?

Marc will be there to support, encourage and inspire you whilst helping you meet your health and wellness goals. Marc will customize your meal plan through conversations, workshops, shopping lists, and include your food likes, dislikes, and requirements for your optimal healthy functioning. He will also help you enhance your health and your life through the 8 laws of health that Barbara talks about (Sunshine, Use of water, Sleep, Trust, Abstain, Inhale, Nutrition, Moderation and Exercise – SUSTAIN ME principles), with a clear and focussed path through food. This specialised Food 4 Health coaching will grow and develop and allow you to get more confident in your food journey over time.

Here’s how Marc structures a Food 4 Health coaching session incorporating:

  1. Assessment: We begin by understanding your current eating habits, health goals, and any specific dietary restrictions or preferences you may have.
  2. Education: Introduce Barbara’s 8 principles of health, explaining each one in detail and discussing their importance in achieving overall well-being.
  3. Meal Planning: Work with you to create personalized meal plans that focus on incorporating organic, whole, nutrient-rich, plant-based foods and minimizing processed and refined ingredients.
  4. Recipe Sharing: Provide you with a variety of recipes that are practical, delicious, quick, simple and easy to prepare.
  5. Cooking Workshops: Hands-on instructional workshops where you learn how to prepare healthy meals.

How does Marc’s Food Coaching program work?

Many people have had a life-changing experiences through Barbara O’Neill’s lifestyle programme. Most have gained information, lost weight, feel more energized, feel healthier and fitter and generally see that there are many things they need to change in their lives moving forward. Often, people don’t know where or how to begin. Start with a free 15 min consultation with Marc, to work out which is the best option for you.

Option 1

$100 per hour

Marc will help with the basics online, in the comfort of your own home and will assist in:

  • Going through your cupboards and preparing and cooking your first couple of meals until you feel more comfortable.
  • You will be working in your own kitchen, with your own utensils and your own appliances.
  • Helping you work out a shopping list, and suggesting healthy replacements for food that you love.
  • Encouraging you to shop at the weekly farmer’s markets, where you can shop locally and support small farmers, whilst looking after your health and buying chemical-free fruit and veggies.
  • Marc can tailor-make a workshop for you and show you how to cook and prepare your favourite plant-based meals.
  • You might decide to see Marc as a once-off, or book in weekly online sessions to plan and prepare for the week ahead until you feel capable and confident to make the changes yourself.
  • Assisting you to have a chemical free home and helping you buy or make products that will support your health and healing.

Option 2

$500 for a 3-hour workshop

Bring some friends together who are interested in taking their health to a new level and opt to have an online workshop. Select around 10 meals that you would like to learn, and Marc will choose 3 of the 10 dishes and then expand them into about 15 meal options. Be inspired with Marc’s ability to make meals simple, satisfying, and delicious. You will receive a list of ingredients to buy before the workshop, and then you and your friends can take turns in creating a meal, whilst Marc takes you through the steps. This is fun and inspiring.

Option 3

$100 per person for a 3-hour face to face workshop in the Northern Rivers, NSW. – Min 6 people, Maximum 10 people.

Bring some friends together who are interested in taking their health to a new level and opt to have an interactive workshop. Choose around 10 meals that you and your friends would like to learn, and Marc will choose 3 of the 10 dishes and then expand them into about 15 meal options. Be inspired with Marc’s ability to make meals simple, satisfying, and delicious. Marc will supply all the ingredients, and you and your friends can take turns in creating a meal, whilst Marc takes you through the steps. This is fun, inspiring and delicious as you get to eat everything you make.

Option 4

$500 for an Individualised 3-hour workshop for 1 or 2 people

You get to plan and create the meals that you would like to make. You will have Marc’s undivided attention, and he can help you navigate concerns and answer questions you might have, whilst cooking, preparing, and having fun. This can be face-to-face or online.

A bit about Marc

Marc is an organic farmer, massage therapist and runs an animal sanctuary for rehomed and rescued animals. For 8 years, Marc and his wife, Jen ran their own health retreat which included wellness packages, food coaching, massage, food workshops and all meals. He is passionate about food and is a plant-based chef. He is a recipe developer and has hosted many plant-based workshops over the last 10 years, and generously gives of his time, expertise, and information.

He has had health issues for most of his life and been misdiagnosed and mistreated. He was on a roller coaster ride of doctors, tests, investigations, bad decisions, and prescription medication. Around 12 years ago Marc was placed on an elimination diet, where he was only able to eat white food (leeks, white fish, potatoes and peeled ripe pears) for about a year. Through this experience, he was inspired to experiment with different recipe ideas to manage this monotonous and disheartening cuisine. Needless to say, this eating plan did not work, and he decided to go on an organic, raw, plant-based diet. This turned out to be one of his best health decisions. It was the beginning of him taking control over his life and health. Marc’s health rapidly improved and he became enthusiastic about helping others improve their own health, through diet. Whilst his health improved greatly, the raw plant-based diet did not paint the whole picture. These gaps were quickly filled with the wisdom, knowledge, 8 laws of health, common sense, and nutritional wisdom of Barbara O’Neill.

Through Food 4 Health, Marc now incorporates all his learning and experience into helping people bring health and delicious food into their lives and onto their tables.
